Step 1. Confirm with the customer which cleaning mode they are currently using.

Please note:

If the customer is using Standard Mode, the robot will not identify extra flat surfaces such as steps or sun shelves.

In Standard Mode, the pool is divided into three main zones for cleaning

Pool Floor

Pool Walls

Waterline

If the customer wants to clean areas like steps or sun shelves, we recommend switching to Multi-Zone Mode, as this mode treats all surfaces (except the waterline) as one continuous cleaning area.

To address this, we’ve enhanced the cleaning capability of AquaSense 2 Pro with the introduction of the Multizone Mode. This mode is specifically designed to allow the robot to handle complex surfaces such as steps and raised platforms more efficiently. If your main focus is step cleaning, we highly recommend enabling Multizone Mode for the best results.

That said, depending on the shape and design of the steps, there may still be some corners or edges that the robot cannot fully reach. For these areas, we suggest manual cleaning to complement the robot’s work. Once the initial cleaning is complete, AquaSense 2 Pro will help maintain your pool's cleanliness and minimize the need for frequent manual intervention.
