Map Cannot Be Displayed


ISSUE:

Map Not Displaying After Cleaning: The map does not appear after the cleaning process.


[Internal Use Only — Troubleshooting Guideline]


Step 1. Confirm the Cleaning Mode Used by Customer

a. Ask the customer which cleaning mode they are using.

b. If the customer is using Multi-Zone Mode, inform them that:

--Mapping is not available in this mode.

--The cleaning route will appear irregular by design.


Step 2. Confirm the Movement Pattern at the Pool Bottom

--Request the customer to provide a video showing the robot's movement path on the pool bottom.

--Only cleaning modes that support bottom planning are capable of generating a pool map. If the robot is not following a structured path, mapping will likely not be possible.


Step 3. Confirm Edge Detection Behavior

--Ask the customer whether the robot has moved around the pool bottom edges during its cleaning cycle.

--If the robot shows clear edge-following behavior, it means the mapping function is working correctly. However, if the pool has an irregular or complex shape, the map may fail to display properly even though the robot is functioning as intended.

The AquaSense 2 Pro is designed to map swimming pools in most scenarios. However, if your pool has curved walls or an uneven bottom, ultrasonic signals may reflect off these curved surfaces and fail to return to the robot's sensors. This can prevent the device from successfully completing the map, even though the cleaning performance remains unaffected.
