Abnormal Cleaning Route on Pool Floor

ISSUE:

The robot shows irregular cleaning behavior, such as:

1. Not following an S-shaped path at the bottom of the pool.

2. Fully random cleaning routes, repeated cleaning of the same area, diagonal movements, spinning in circles (if the robot moves around the pool in circles but otherwise works fine, this is normal), or only cleaning one specific area.

3. In "Quick Mode," which is designed for bottom-only cleaning, the robot unexpectedly cleans pool walls or the waterline.

[Internal Use Only — Troubleshooting Guideline]

Step 1: Confirm the Cleaning Mode

Ask the customer which cleaning mode is currently being used.

Verify the actual mode via the customer’s account in the big data backend system.

⚠️ Special Note:

If the customer is using Multi-ZONE Mode:

Path planning is not supported in this mode.

Cleaning routes will appear irregular.

Step 2: Suggest an Alternative Cleaning Mode

Recommend the customer to test the following modes:

Bottom-only cleaning (within Custom Mode).

Standard Mode.

If the customer reports irregular movement even in Standard Mode:

Immediately check the big data backend to confirm whether the mapping was successful.

Mapping failure will cause abnormal cleaning routes.

Step 3: Validate Pool Bottom Structure

If route issues persist in Standard Mode:

Ask the customer whether the pool bottom has a complex curved structure.

Request real photos of the pool for verification.

Step 4: Deepsense Mode Explanation & Suggested Communication

A. If it is confirmed that the pool bottom has a complex shape:

The robot will automatically switch to Deepsense Mode.

B. Features of Deepsense Mode:

• Electronic mapping is not available.

• Power consumption will significantly increase.
